Introduction: Pakistani Students Association has been running educational seminar series for Pakistani Students, whereby they have been given a chance to present at some topic of general interest, their own research work, preparation for some conference or PhD confirmation, etc. Besides the presenter, one person chairs the seminar and five independent markers assess the quality of seminar by filling in a Performa, with grading of the overall quality of the presentation and useful hints to improve. This series has been very valuable and successful in that it gives useful feedback to the presenter in their research, helps to improve their presentation skills, gives the students experience to chair scientific meetings and seminars, and assess presentation. Besides student presenters, this series occasionally includes teachers and other eminent PhD degree holders as guest speakers.
